IMPERIAL CLASS – AC TURKISH VAN GR CH FEMALE:

Imp Gr Ch Guidera’s Gr Ch Shadycombe Vanguards Hope, Auburn & White.  What an absolutely magnificent female of this very difficult breed.  One of the very best I have ever judged in both GCCF and ACFA.  Wonderful head and type.  Super expression.  Nice broad wedge.  Nose length good with a slight dip in profile.  Tall ears set high on the head.  Ears well feathered and a nice delicate pink on the insides.  Expressive oval eyes of light amber colour and with pink rims.  Pink nose leather.  A level bite and firm chin.  Nicely built body of good size and weight.  All limbs in balance.  Full brush to balance the body.  Really full chalky-white coat.  No body spots or “Thumb-prints of Allah.”A most perfect set of butterfly wings to form the head markings, with a nice white blaze down the centre.  No colour to either ear.  This is one of the very best head markings I have ever seen.  Rich auburn colour to the head markings and to the tail.  She was a true Van.  Groomed to perfection and handled like a dream.  Later chosen as Best Turkish Exhibit.  An honour so very well-deserved.  Superb exhibit.
