TERMS & CONDITION OF PURCHASE
Please note that these terms and conditions are there to protect the safety and well being of my cats/kittens and to also ensure that they have the very best chance of living a very long and happy life with their new owners. My cats and kittens are bred as a hobby and I care for each of them very dearly, even after they have gone to their new homes.
1. My cats or kittens are sold under the following conditions. That they will be kept as indoor cats at all times. They will not be allowed to free roam outside.
2. I reserve the right to remove my cat or kitten if I find it has been mistreated, neglected or is kept in unacceptable living conditions (without offering any refund).
3. No cash refunds will be given for any reason.
4. My cats or kittens are in good health, and have been treated for worms at 6 & 12weeks of age.
5. My cats or kittens shall not be sold, leased or given to any pet shop or research establishment.
6. My cats or kittens shall not be inter-bred with other pedigree breeds.
7. My cats or kittens shall not be sold, given or donated to any person without my prior knowledge and consent. In the event of being unable to maintain the cat/kitten I shall be informed immediately and will work with you to find a suitable home if one can not be found I will agree to bring the kitten/cat back to my home however no financial recompense will be given, I will work hard to find a suitable home and will advertise it on my website and other available sites.
8. My kittens/cats come to you with their up to date vaccinations, they have all been wormed regularly I guarantee them to be in good health at the time of sale. My vet has checked this cat/kitten at least twice.
9. If the kitten / cat should die due to congenital defect (may not be apparent in early life) within the first 24 months it will be replaced with a kitten / cat of comparable quality and value when available.
A post mortem will be required to verify the cause of death.
10. My cats or kittens must receive all necessary veterinary care to maintain his/her good health.
11. My Cats or kittens will be kept in appropriate conditions for its health and welfare and will be fed a suitable diet for his age and condition.
12. All Active Kittens only go to their new home with their GCCF Registration Documents this is for Kittens that go to their new homes for breeding purpose only and are on the Active register. All Vankedisi kittens that are sold for Breeding will go to their new home with a full Bear testing certifying that they have full hearing. This is a requirements of the GCCF. No kitten that is being registered on the active register should not have one. It is not a requirement for Vankedisi kittens/cats sold as pets to hold such certificate as yet. All kittens sold as pets will be registered on the inactive registrar, meaning that they can not register any of offspring.
13. The kitten/cat will be neutered between the age of 6/8 months. Upon the receiving a letter from your veterinarian verification of neutering, the The buyer will be provided with GCCF registration papers. It is also strongly recommended you insure your kitten to cover any unforeseen medical problems.
14. Vanguard Turkish Van Cats will not be responsible for your vets bill should you not insure your kitten / cat.
15. All my kitten’s go to their new homes within the united kingdom with a 4 weeks free insurance (subject to change by the insurance company).
16. I recommend that you continue your 4 weeks free Pet Plan insurance cover with them for the first year, to ensure continuity of cover angainst unforeseen medical problems.
17. No Kitten will be allowed to go to their new homes until they are at least 13 weeks old as per the rules of the GCCF. I am happy to reserve on a first come basis; this is subject to a non refundable 50% deposit to secure the kitten of your choice.
18. This deposit will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances, or if the reservation is cancelled by myself. Should your kitten be found to be in unsound health on examination by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of leaving these premises, the kitten / cat may be returned and the buyer may request another kitten / cat of equal quality when available. Veterinary confirmation will be required and checked. (This only applies to those kitten living in the UK) and must be returned to the breeder I will not over consequential loss.
19. I do not guarantee show wins.
20. All our Kittens/Cats, are only registered by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.
21. For the protection of the Breeders resident cats’ population, a portion of the purchase price will be retained for Felv/Fiv, Fip testing if the kitten/cat is returned.
22. The purchase priceexcludes: microchip, leukaemia vaccination, rabies vaccination, overseas health certificates, certificate of entirety, certified pedigrees, transportation cost, import/ export certificate charges, courier / airport handling charges, purchase of a suitable airline approved cat carrier and any additional bedding required for transit.
23. No cash refunds will be given for any reason.
I realise that this may seem a lot of conditions of sale but I believe that it is a benefit to both you and me. I want to ensure my cats go to a home which is suitable to their breed and you have the reassurance of knowing the exact terms under which you are making your purchase.
